Hi, I’m Alexandra.

I’ve always been the person who needed to understand how things worked. Not just the shiny bits at the top, but the mechanics underneath. The processes. The moving parts. The stuff that actually keeps things running.

Once I understand something, I immediately start thinking about how it could be organised better, simplified or made more efficient. I appreciate this makes me sound like enormous fun at parties. And it also probably explains why, back in the day, I loved my Filofax (look it up) and Rolodex (look that up too).

I spent more than 20 years working in advertising as a “suit” - which basically means co-ordinating everything for everyone so the work actually gets out the door - before taking those same creative and organisational skills into my own stationery business, small business consulting and start-up projects.

Running a business would be much easier if someone handed you the answers first. But they don’t. There are plenty of books, blogs, podcasts and Instagram posts telling you how to price, grow and scale a business. There are far fewer explaining the practical stuff that actually helps you run one.

Probably because it’s boring. But personally? This is my jam. The strategy. The systems. The operations. The finances. The admin. Yes, please.

That's where I step in. Consider me your behind-the-scenes wingwoman, helping you make sense of all the moving parts that sit behind running a business. Because you don't know what you don't know. The result? Less mental load, fewer things keeping you awake at 2am, and fewer browser tabs open than a small IT department.
